- IIPDEP is part of the international campaign to ban lethal autonomous weapons systems. Weapons that select and engage targets without human decision-making raise serious questions under international humanitarian law. See also: Stop Killer Robots.
- Peace Through Health (Cancer Awareness & Detection Camps)
- Cancer awareness and detection camps for poor and low-middle income group women. Conducted in partnership with health organisations in Nagpur and surrounding areas.
- Media Campaign to End Landmines
- Press and media outreach on the landmine issue. The Ottawa Treaty was signed in 1997. Clearance and victim assistance work continues.
- International Network of Museums for Peace
- IIPDEP is a member of the International Network of Museums for Peace. The network coordinates exhibitions, events and awareness campaigns among peace museums and memorial institutions worldwide. See inmp.net.
- International Action Network on Small Arms (IANSA)
- Education and advocacy on the illegal trade of small arms and light weapons. Small arms cause large numbers of civilian casualties in conflict areas. IIPDEP participates in IANSA activities on the humanitarian impact of the arms trade.
- International Network of Engineers & Scientists for Global Responsibility (INES)
- Partnership with INES on dual-use technology, nuclear energy, and the responsibility of scientists and engineers toward global peace and security.
- International Physicians for Prevention of Nuclear War (IPPNW)
- Coordination with the Indian affiliate of IPPNW on nuclear disarmament education and awareness of the humanitarian consequences of nuclear weapons.
- No More Hiroshima: No More Nagasaki, Peace Museum
- IIPDEP operates a peace museum project under this name. Annual events are held on August 6. The project covers the history and consequences of nuclear weapons use in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
- Human Rights
- Education, documentation and advocacy on human rights issues. Displacement, civilian casualties, arms trade accountability, and the relationship between disarmament and human security.
- Environmental Protection
- Documentation and awareness on the environmental consequences of conflict, weapons testing and militarisation. The relationship between disarmament and sustainable development.
